If you're unsure about the state of your brakes, book a free brake check. Our friendly, expert technicians will check all aspects of your braking system to identify any issues and help you stay safe on the road.

If a repair or replacement is needed, a no-obligation quote will be provided. We only use quality, original-spec parts and all our work is guaranteed for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever is sooner.

Why not ask your Autocentre if you are eligible for our Brakes4Life offer? With Brakes4Life (exclusive to parsautos Autocentres) you only pay for one set of brake pads or shoes, then the rest are free, forever - as long as you own a vehicle!

Your technician can advise you after the free brake check whether you are eligible for the scheme - terms and conditions apply.

Our free brake check covers a visual inspection of all components in your car brake system. Our ATA-trained technicians look at brake pads, shoes, callipers, hoses, discs, and handbrake linkages.

If brake repairs are required, we'll let you know why, and we'll advise you of costs upfront.

Brakes4Life is a lifetime brake offer exclusive to parsautos Autocentres. It's quite simple - you pay for the first set of replacement brake pads, then the rest are free, forever. This goes for any car you buy in the future too.

If you need brake pads fitted for a new car, simply bring the car in to register for the lifetime replacement. Or you can transfer your lifetime brake replacements to the new owner when you sell your car.

We ask that you get any brake repairs carried out or parts replaced when necessary, and we recommend that you keep your car in safe, roadworthy condition. We also ask that you inform us when you change your car.

You don't need to have an annual check or service, although we recommend that you do.

See our full terms and conditions.

The cost to change brake pads and discs will vary depending on your car. Remember the brake check is always free, and we'll let you know how much a brake service will cost upfront. There's no obligation to have brake discs or pads fitted.

Brake fitting is carried out by expert, ATA-trained technicians, and we only use top quality parts that match the manufacturer's original specification. Unlike some dealers, we never use low-quality cheap brake pads that quickly need replacing again!

You should allow an hour for our brake check. If we need to fit new brake pads or carry out repairs, we will normally be able to do the work on the same day.

Rolling Resistance(A-G)

E Grade – Below average fuel efficiency, however there may in some cases be a good reason why the rolling resistance is higher, for example where tyres are specifically designed for more grip, such as sports car tyres or winter tyres.

Wet Grip(A-G)

B Grade – Nearly the best quality tyres to stop in the wet, stopping only 3m more than a grade A tyre but on average 15m shorter than a car on grade G tyres (on a wet road when braking from 50mph – testing according to regulation EC1222/2009)

Sound Wave(1-3)

3 Bars – At least 3dB's above future EU noise limit (although meets current limit)

Noise(67-79 Db)

73 dB – Exterior noise level measured in decibels (dB). The lower the exterior noise level the better the environment near busy roads
